Pricing questions
- Is there a free tier?
- Not on hosted compute: Personal is $5 a month and loads $5 of credit. In your own AWS account, Starter is free on one instance and you pay AWS directly.
- Do credits roll over?
- Wallet credit rolls over and never expires. Build-minute allowances reset monthly.
- What does an idle app cost?
- Very little: CPU bills only while it runs, memory on what the app holds. A reserved box bills its flat rate, busy or idle.
- How are build minutes counted?
- One wall-clock minute of build, any builder size, capped at 30 minutes per build. Past your allowance they draw the wallet at a small overage rate.
- Can I cap my monthly spend?
- Yes. Set a budget to get notified or pause apps (data kept) at the cap, with email alerts at 50%, 80%, and 100%.
- Which region does Ownkube run in?
- The Mumbai region today, flat pricing, more regions on request. In your own AWS account, pick any AWS region.
- Can I run the same app in my own cloud?
