Privacy policy

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and password.
  • Payment data: billing details processed by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
  • Cloud credentials: access credentials you provide to connect your AWS/GCP account, encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, browser type, device info, IP address, and referral source, collected automatically.
  • OAuth data: name, email, and profile picture if you sign in via GitHub or Google.

2. How we use it

  • Operate and improve the Service.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure on your cloud accounts.
  • Process billing and send transactional emails.
  • Provide AI-powered error detection, cost optimization, and operational insights.
  • Analyze usage trends and fix technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers (payment processing, hosting, analytics) under data-protection agreements.
  • Your cloud provider via the credentials you grant us, solely to deliver the Service.
  • Legal authorities when required by law.
  • Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

We use cookies and Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time on page, browser type, and approximate location via first-party cookies. IP anonymization is enabled.

We also use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics scripts. It does not collect personal data itself.

5. Security and retention

We encrypt data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Cloud credentials are never logged in plaintext. When you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days and cloud credentials are revoked immediately.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data by emailing privacy@ownkube.io. We respond within 30 days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will post changes on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
