// tools · full_stack_cost

Cloud hosting cost calculator.

A real app is more than a web box. Price the full stack, a web service plus a managed Postgres database plus a cache, and see the monthly cost on Ownkube next to Railway, Render, Heroku, Fly.io, DigitalOcean, and Northflank. The numbers update as you change the inputs. No signup, nothing to install.

A whole app costs less on Ownkube.

Postgres and a cache at near cost. Compute billed per minute.

Full stack = web app + managed Postgres + Valkey cache. Competitor list prices sourced from official pages, 2026, and mapped to the nearest real plan; figures marked with * are derived from a provider's published per-unit rate, not a named plan. Ownkube and Railway meter CPU per minute (idle apps cost less); Render, Heroku, DigitalOcean, and Northflank bill flat instances. Render is sized to its Standard plan (its $7 Starter is 0.5 CPU / 512 MB). Estimate, not a quote.

How the estimate works

  • Full stack, not the web box. The total is a web app plus a managed Postgres database plus an optional cache. Pricing a web box on its own hides the part of the bill that grows.
  • Ownkube meters compute per minute, at about $18 per vCPU per month and $4.50 per GiB per month, so an idle app barely registers. Managed Postgres runs on a database box from $4 a month plus $0.15 per GB of storage, and a Valkey cache runs on a box from $2 a month.
  • Competitor figures are list prices from each provider's official pricing page in 2026, mapped to the nearest real plan. Numbers derived from a published per-unit rate are marked. Treat them as illustrative estimates, not quotes.
  • Honest about the field. DigitalOcean App Platform and Northflank are the closest on this workload. The chart shows Ownkube comes out cheapest of the seven, not a fixed percentage cheaper than any one of them.
