Rates are illustrative us-east-1 numbers as of April 2026. NAT gateway: $0.045/hr per AZ plus $0.045/GB processed. Gateway endpoints (S3, DynamoDB) are free. Interface endpoints cost ~$0.01/hr per AZ per service plus $0.01/GB. IPv6 traffic via an egress-only IGW is free for both data-processing and standard egress.

The "after" number assumes you have enabled S3 and DynamoDB gateway endpoints, added interface endpoints for AWS-bound traffic, and dual-stacked the VPC for the IPv6-capable share. Your numbers will vary with region and traffic mix.
